Birds of New Delhi

New Delhi, the capital of our nation, is one of the most bird rich cities in the world. This was proved when Delhi was declared as the Second Most Bird Rich Capital City. It has some places where commo and uncommon birds can be seen. 

                            Everyday, new birds are being Discovered and Rediscovered. 

Few of the birds of New Delhi have been listed down:-

1. THE BLUE ROCK PIGEON

{Or simply Rock Pigeon}

This is a very common and frequently found bird. Can be sighted in and around human habitation.

2. THE HOUSE CROW

This bird is undoubtedly the most common bird found in Delhi.

3. THE JUNGLE CROW

Though the bird is not commonly found in Delhi, sometimes Jungle Crows are spotted.

5. THE HOUSE SPARROW

The house sparrow was though a common bird of New Delhi in the past, today their numbers are very less.
